I took Dave for honors FYS, Old Order Amish. I've never talked to anyone who doesn't like Dave, and he makes class interesting. He assigned a lot of papers, but that's because it's FYS. I highly recommend taking his FYS if you can.

Dave has been one of my favorite professors during my whole time at Messiah. He's very respectable because he is a GREAT prof who teaches you what you need to know and really cares. He will make you work for your grades, but he's a fair grader and wants you to do well.

Dave is the best. I took him for an Amish Paradise FYS and I loved every class. He really knows the information, and the class is super interesting. He is a tough grader but always fair, and is always willing to answer your questions before the assignment is due. I would recommend him for anyone!

Dave is an amazing professor! Super easy and down to earth type of guy! I would highly recommend this professor to anybody! I plan on taking his classes in the future for my Bible minor and any other opportunity I receive. For this class, he gives quizzes and requires journals, but provides the opportunity to cancel 2-3 quiz grades! Sweet!
