horrible, awful, ridiculous. final is over book stuff he never even touches in class. impossible to do well unless, for some RARE reason, he likes you. then it doesn't matter. watched him tear a girl down to tears twice in front of whole class. yuck!

If you are one of his pets, you will get an A, no matter how good/bad you are. If you not one of his pets (about 99.9% of all people), you'll get screwed. I have never seen a more biased grader in my life. He should not be allowed to teach this class because he doesn't have the qualification for it.

I had him for speech 2...I was in the public speaking show case in speech 1 and i got a C... if you take this class you have to face the fact that he is the most amazing speaker and you will never be as good as him...or so he thinks..AVOID

I hated this class because of the teacher. I put in college-level effort, and got a C. I've seen him reduce people to tears in class, the mid-term and the final were ungodly vague. If I had to do it over again, I'd take someone else. Waste of $$$$.

THIS MAN SUCKS! He is the worst..he pulls your grade out of his a$$! He likes to embarass people too! He plays severe favorites, one time one of his favorites went 2.5 minutes over on a speech and he only took 3 pts off! But he made sure I never got an A.

David Bailey is a horrible teacher. He does not stop talking and probably has a fetish of hearing his own voice. We had 4 oral citations required in a speech, I gave 7 and somehow I didn't have enough. You will get a C even if you are amazing at speech

Nice guy, but expects a lot. Does seem a bit arrogant, but willing to help when he can. Quizzes can be obscure. Make eye contact and use a preview and citations. It's difficult to get an A, even though it's a Gen Ed.

he does not expect you to enter his class a wonderful speaker, but he does want to see college-level effort. be prepared for speeches, do not read the whole speech off of your paper, and make eye contact. easy as that. he is very nice and does a good job.
