Amazing Acting teacher and Voice teacher Period!. Just google actors from Elon with in the past 10 years. Anyone who says other did not understand Meisner's Method, and should just stick to Kirby Walls Edith Skinner Method. He is brilliant and Raw. He will bring the best out of you! (Even make you paint his house during the summer time)

I love this man! He's tough, and his class is soo difficult sometimes, but I'm pretty sure it is the best class I have ever taken EVER! He'll scare you at first but he really is an amazing person. I've learned so much from him. Let his class change you!

Richard is the best acting teacher I have ever had! He doesn't tolerate bull, but loves ALL of his students - and will get them to succeed in the craft that they are passionate about. It is worth your time to spend every minute you can with him in and outside of class! Take advantage of such a knowledgable and talented man while you can!!!

He is an incredible teacher, he scares the *beep* out of me sometimes out of class, but in class, he's much more approachable. He is honest, which is the most important thing you can ask for in a proffesor. He's not gonna be nice to you when you suck. That's kind of hard to understand at first when you're a new freshmen.He changed the way I looked

Everyone has their doubts and bad moments about Richard but every semester everyone comes out of that class with a much better perception of the art. Even the people who drop out of theater after his class have a lifetime of respect for him. Be ready to work but also be ready to learn about what acting should be

I must say this about Richard. I have never had a harder class in my life. However he makes me respect him. No one has ever been harder on me. But the benfits are there. You don't believe just look at those who get this ****. The work that comes out of that class is gorgous. Its hard, and you will hate his guts at times. Just dont come to that class with bull****. Believe me, or he will tear you a new one.
