Dave is the most knowledgeable prof I've had at MUN. You don't need the textbook but you HAVE to listen to exactly what he says in lectures because that is what he tests on. If you attend class and take notes well then this course should be no problem.

I am disappointed in the way he ran HKR 1000. I did not spend 300 dollars to be taught by some saucy grad students who couldn't be bothered to answer my questions. I don't have time to scroll through 300 discussion messages because you're too lazy to answer me. I disliked the instructors but the material was simple, common sense.

I only had Dr. Behm through a distance course. However, very fair prof, gives fair exams, good notes, and does not test you on anything that's not in the material. Very quick in responding to email and also very helpful. Would recommend him to anyone taking this course!

extremely hard prof. very helpful and nice, but very brutal exams. very smart guy but he seems to want to brutalize his students into learning and not make it very easy on them. his courses dragged my average down because of all the work i had to do. be prepared to --WORK YOUR ASS OFF--!! dr. behm is here to pump you up.
