Mr. Boldt in class will basically review his powerpoint slides that contain the material. Usually every day of class you have an assignment. Tests can be extremely difficult. BASICALLY IF YOU HAVE TO TAKE THIS CLASS, BE PREPARED FOR HARD TESTS AND SHOWING UP TO CLASS TO COMPLETE DAILY WORK. DO NOT MISS FIRST TEST, HE WILL DROP YOU.

Boldt was an amazing prof!! Syllabus tells you everything he will grade you on for whole semester. Gives online quizzes that go directly on test but gives you full credit for doing well on them. One presentation at the end of the semester that he grades very leniently on. Very easy grader and really helps boost your grade if he feels you cared!

Dr. Boldt is the bomb. I loved having him on my study abroad trip and really enjoyed his humor. He's a great professor and really cares about his students. You have to work, but it's well worth it and you'll actually learn something. Super cool guy and GREAT professor.

My first class in economics and I thought this professor was phenomenal. He is able to be flexible for issues such as tests and is a very fair grader. He may not be the most clear and can sometimes get off topic but I had no major issues at the end of the day. I have full intention to take a class from this professor again if I have the chance.

I took it as an Honors course - very easy. Two extra credit, one-page papers worth up to 3 points on your final grade and open book online quizzes. However, I thought the lectures were long, but I don't particularly enjoy macroeconomics - you can only talk about its mechanics for so long. Overall, I would take it again for the easy A.

Dr. Boldt is one of my favorite professors. He is very helpful and gives plenty of extra credit opportunities, at least in the honors class. His Power Points pretty much cover all the material in the book and if you know them, you'll do well on the tests. Not an easy A, but if you do all the work and study, it is attainable.

I've had Dr Boldt for sophmore, junior, and now my senior year. He is not the easiest professor, but he teaches great and is fair. Definitely recommend him!

PRACTICES UNFAIR GRADING. If you want to be success in ECON 2105, do not take him. Boldt is not a good professor.

Dr. B focus on 'letting you understand'the material, rather than give you a massive headache with lots of trick questions. Goes over material very carefully so that no one's left behind, tests are from testbooks + ppt slides + and Clicker questions which he uses for giving participation credit (worth 13% of your grade). Plus, he's very humorous.

Good teacher, easy going and laid back. Tests are straightforward and not terribly difficult if you've looked over the material. Good sense of humor, but he's low-key about it

Dr. Boldt knows his material. You really couldn't ask for a better economics course. It is a difficult one though... no scantrons here. All of the tests are mainly made up of 4-5 essay questions.
