Professor Brookshire was great. His class was one of the most difficult that I have ever taken, but he's great and sparks an interest and excitement in his students.

This was one of the hardest econ classes I ever took. Brookshire is brilliant, and applies the material to real life situations, engaging the students in class discussion that illustrates the concepts. He's not for everyone, though. He forces you to be responsible and THINK, something some students can't be bothered with.

This class SUCKS! The information taught in class is not on the quizes and exams. Quizes and Exams are extremely difficult and most information cannot be found in the book. He is rude and will intentionally makes students feel stupid in front of peers. Do NOT take this class from this professor!

He's a nice man, but a terrible professor. Nothing he talks about in class is on quizzes and exams. Not to mention that you have to go to class to earn attendance points. I've taken this class twice from him and failed both times because of his ridiculous grading on the vignette. I got a 0/1000 points both times I took this class!

Most of the work is online. Kind of difficult He is a very intelligent professor but teaches the 106 class at his high level. Makes things hard to understand. Made me want to switch my major and hate micro economics.

Very nice person, funny and engaging. However, this class is HORRIBLE. As others have said what he teaches in class is USELESS for the tests and quizzes which are all online quizzes 1.5 hrs. tests 3 hours. 3 tries but you don't to see what you are getting wrong so it is a waste of time. I would recommend NOT taking this class from him.

He's not a good professor at all. I studied, read the chapters, and went to class. Even with that I couldn't get my grade above a 40%. I hated the class. What he talks about in class is not on the quizzes or tests. Avoid taking this class!

Nice guy but not so great of a professor. His lectures teach you general microeconomics, but none of the stuff that you need to know on the quizzes and exams. You spend hours every weekend on the online quizzes and exams. It's really all self-teaching. I'd avoid this professor. This course gave me my first B in my so far 2 years of college.

Great teacher! Knows his stuff. Not a bad class and its almost impossible not to get a A on the tests because he lets you use the book and take them three times if you want. Would reccomend to anyone wanting to major in economics.

Only an okay teacher, but a good class. He'll spend alot of time talking about things you dont really need to know. But the take home exams, although very long, are pretty easy to get through with fair reasoning and the book

Useless class. What he writes on the board has absolutely nothing to do with the chapters or tests. Everything is out of order and makes no sense. You can do the long take-home exams just using logic.

His lectures aren't bad but you really don't have to as long as you study the 70 question sets and show up on quiz day when the TA's do a review. All you really need are the 70 questions they make up the quizzes, tests, and the final. It's not hard just study those questions

This class is a joke! You only have to memorize the correct answers on the review quizzes and you will get an A+ in the class. You dont even have to comprehend any of the material, just memorize the review sheet and you will pass with flying colors. Professor Brookshire did not explain concepts well, and the TA's were hard to understand.

This professor is fairly hard. He communicates well through email. He depends a lot on the T.A.s. He reads straight off of a slideshow in class which is posted online.
