I attended nova a couple years back and today my favorite math professor came to mind. He is the most caring, passionate, funny professor @nova. Freshmen's, I recommend taking his class. You have to show up to class, take notes and he is always available outside of class. I don't remember if the textbook if required btw.

Dr Conroy is the greatest professor I have had since returning to school. He is dedicated and understanding to those that need extra help and he has more open office hours and study groups than any other professor combined. If you want to learn by his methods and actually understand Math this is the class. He is fantastic.

Dr. Conroy is one of the best math professors I've ever experienced. He has several methods of teaching, and will work with you until you figure out what works best for you. He's very kind and compassionate about teaching. I fully recommend, especially if you struggle with math as I do.

This class seemed more like a high school course than a college course. The student who commented below probably didn't learn anything because the instructor is so easy. I am worried about the next math course I plan on taking because I felt like I wasn't prepared. 75% percent of the students don't show up for this class that tells you a lot.

Dr. Conroy is one of the best teachers I've ever had, and certainly one of the best math teachers I've had too. There are 4 exams, and one final exam that only covers the first three exams. I got a perfect 100 on the third exam, which I've never done since elementary school. For once, I didn't feel like a failure in math. Take his class! :D

Dr. Conroy is the best teacher I've ever had at NOVA. He's funny, caring and makes math easy. He has office hours a lot throughout the day and encourages you to come for help or even to say hello. He gives out reviews before the exams that are identical and even let's you correct mistakes on the exam for half credit. TAKE HIM!!!

Mr. Conroy is such a sweet and caring human being. If you do your part this class is an easy A. All of his pre-test reviews are a replica of the exam. If you pay attention and just give some effort this class is a piece of cake. I loved this class.

I started in this class thinking it would be super easy, but turns out its not. He says he cares about his students but i dont feel that way. You use the text book for 12 homework assignments. You take 3 test and one big final. Make sure you actually study because Half assing this class doesnt work. He takes attendence seriously and my grade paidit

Such a cute little old man. He is very caring and you can tell he has life experience along with a sturdy understanding of math. He makes class fun and interactive. Though when it comes to taking tests he has a very clear grading criteria. Do all your homework and follow his format of doing things. Never a dull moment in his class.

Professor Conroy really cares about his students. He loves us all individually and he makes the class so much easier for everyone. His study guides are exact replicas of his exams and his final exam isn't too difficult either. Just keep up with the notes and homework and you'll be fine. This class isn't supposed to be difficult, so do your part.

love this man! best math teacher ever and class. hes a really great person, teaches well and is always very helpful an sweet it gets annoying but its a good thing! hes really funny too so never a boring class. willing to help anyone and everyone. allows half credit point back on test that REALLY help you out !! take his class !

Love this teacher, he is sweet and caring. Most of his jokes are corny but laugh anyway and he will love you. I took his 8am class and was very understanding when I showed up late, (just tell him there was traffic). He is very good at explaining the concepts you don't understand.

He is the best math teacher I've ever meet. He explains everthing clearly, doesn't do any test before he makes sure everyone in class understanded everything that will be on the test. He gives study guide and questions on the test are exactly in same format with questions from study guide. He has very good daily life exapmles to teach the topic.

This guy is the definition of "kooky". He is a great teach who can break everything down barney style for you when you really don 't understand things. He will do everything under the sun to help his students and he wants you to succeed. TAKE HIS CLASS IF YOU STRUGGLE WITH MATH.

he is the sweetest professor know in Annandale campus he even won an award for being an outstanding caring professor out of the whole nova campuses. take him and you will not regret it. also show up to class or you will not pass. and if you don't understand something he will help you understand with life examples.

TAKE HIS CLASS!!! I absolutely adore him, he does everything he can to help his students succeed. He is VERY available for study Q's & test corrections. Understanding, hilarious, thorough. He provides study guides for each exam (4 total). Gives examples so you actually understand material. Love him!!!!
