Dr. Doughty was a very helpful, caring, and energetic teacher. Although he is a very loud speaker, he is still good. His tests are kinda hard. Make sure you study. Quite possibly the MOST scatter-brained man I have ever met. Does not tell you what is on the test, or on the final for that matter. Answers his cell phone in class, has awful handwriting, rants and raves about things that have NOTHING to do with computers, and puts things on his tests, IN ESSAY FORM that were never talked about, or even mentioned.

This guy is awesome, but the material is hard. He knows physics really well, but seems to assume that you know it too. Webassign every week isn't too hard. Tests are difficult if you don't study. Gives a review session before every test that is very helpful. Really fun teacher.

lets just put it this way. if you read thoroughly, you will get a B. it is not possible to earn an A, and I am an A student otherwise. But as long as you read, you will get a B. Homework counts for 2/7 of ur final grade which is nice.

Class was interesteing sometimes but could also get very boring. He is every energized about what he teaches and is very helpful when you ask questions. Test aren't difficult but it helps to go to class. material in lectures is on the tests.

Great guy. Knows a little about everything and loves his job. Interesting demos. Quizzes are easy if you read and the tests aren't too hard if you study even a little bit. Allows notecards for equations on tests.
