Pretty boring lecture, but he is a decent guy. Though he tries to not teach with a bias, expect an inability to hold back on his liberal ideals. Definitely a fair guy and gives you opportunities to do well, even if you bombed one exam.

Skimmed over the readings and made sure I knew the terms on study guide he gave and got good grades. Missed at least one class a week and it didn't make a difference. The lectures are kinda dry. overall I'd recommend him if you need to take this class

Although many people find him boring I really enjoyed the class. He incorportated videos and provided examples demonstrating different ideas in politics. He always very helpful. Final is optional.

I really enjoyed his class. Some people think he's boring but if you enjoy politics then it is a very interesting class. His exams start off difficult but by the end they are easier. His final is VERY easy. If you like politics take this class!

Frederick is a nice, younger professor who is very knowledgeable and interesting, not to mention unbiased which is a hard quality to find in posc professors. He may be challenging, but overall he is a good guy and very helpful when a student has questions! :) I love his class. It's a lot of policy debates.

okay so listen all. i was a straight A student in high school, and i received consistent C's in his class. it's ridiculous. he puts so much emphasis on the book, and his lecture notes, and everything else. NOTHING helps. at all. oh, and he goes out of his way to use big words. The lectures are boring. And the class averages are never above a 70
