I took multiple classes from David in 1980 and 81. I fell asleep in the front row of his class (I worked nights and weekends) he asked me a question when I woke up and everyone had a good laugh. After class he took the time to ask if I needed any help. I made it through his class and just completed my 25th year at IBM!!

Great teacher, brilliant man. He went to MIT for his undergrad. So, for those saying "he thinks he knows everything", it's because he knows more than you and you're doing poorly in the class. Take an interest and get an A.

I thought Dr. Game was a likeable guy. I understand what others mean about the "coach-like" style, and its not a plus in academia. In the real world of programming, ambiguity or poorly defined requirements are the most harmful element you can introduce to the software development process. He should not encourage poorly defined requirements.

I guess he's helpful if are one that can understand his jargon. The class was pretty unorganzied and often you'd walk away not knowing what he said. He made the class fair through open book quizzes which offset is less than stellar teaching performance. Tends to get upset if you challenge or question him, so mind your Ps and Qs.

Amazing teacher. Made programming fun and easy! Not always clear what he wanted but that was the point of programming, he wanted us to be abstract so he was intentionally not crystal clear. But he always helped when needed and it was a great class... I highly recommend him to anyone!

Had him for a few classes, did not learn a great deal. He's a very "in your face" teacher, his aggressiveness can hinder learning at times. His programming specs are badly written with not enough info; if you point it out he gets defensive and tells you thats how it is in the real world, but its not (Ive been programming 20 yrs in the real world.

Covers a wide range of material, you will come out of this class knowing much, much more than before, especially if you are a one dimensional programmer, he opens your eyes to a lot of different languages.

He is hard and not always clear on what he wants but if you pass with a good grade then you earned it. If not you got what you deserve. He'll prepare you for networking. Dont ask dumb questions, is my advice.

You guys are anonimous cowards! Dr. Game is one of the smartes teachers at this school, he explains things clearly, and is perfectly consistent with what goes on tests. Dont complain if you are too stupid to understand the material.Never had a B with him.

tests are not really what he goes over in class. He says they are applications of what he teaches, but makes learning the material overly difficult. Makes a course that should be easy, very hard. Easy to get a C.
