overall good teacher. He take the thing back to the root so you"ll understand where the equation came from thus make it easier to remember. All you have to do for an A is go to class pay attention. But it'll be better for his method if he teach harder class.

Prof Goldberg was a great teacher!!! I have never before enjoyed or understood geometry or trig but he made it very clear and easy to understand! He taught us alot of useful tips and hints for several different kinds of problems.Just go to class do the probs he gives in class and you will do great!!!

Corny jokes are great! Uses everyday lingo to make you understand the info being taught. Wish I could have him for other math classes. For the first time EVER I was actually interested in Math!!!!!

He is very boring and is one of the only teachers i've had that still writes on a chalkboard. He gave quizzes every class and a test once a week. If you miss class or don't study your out of luck. He helps but it can sometimes be more confusing. I've had better luck with Google than asking him questions.

I respect the amount of logic that Goldberg uses and how it pertains to the careers it is intended for. He is very practical and I admire that but I have a very, hard time learning. I have to have one method to learn from and he usually gives more than one and its confusing.

HE TRIES HARD TO HELP STUDENTS REGARDLESS OF THEIR OFTEN NEGATIVE ATTITUDES. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT I NEED A PRECISE SYLLABUS FOR SUCH A CLASS SINCE AT LEAST A CERTAIN PERCENT OF STUDENTS ALREADY KNOW ALL THE MATERIAL AND DO OT NEED TO BE THERE EVERYDAY. ALL IN ALL A GOOD TEACHER.

I really liked him. However he's one of those "math people" that has some difficulty communicating to non "math people" this makes his efforts at being helpful subject to communication issues. He was very kind and sympathetic when I was having math meltdowns though. I had him before the Math dept. changeover so I don't know how he has adapted.

Cool teacher! He explains everything very well. He goes out of his way to answer any questions you have. Do not miss any classes and you will get a good grade. He provides a lot of extra credit to help you succeed. I feel like I learned a lot from him.

Total Hippie, black socks with sandals even in the winter. No specific dates for tests at beginning of the semester, hard to know when test is. dont miss a single class or you are done. quiz at start of every class homework at the end. no email or post of work if you miss class. not realistic for todays students.

class materials very dry...he doesnt post class work often. Tests not taken in class must be on own time. If you work look out for this class. I also feel he can be very rude to students.
