would not be where I am today in my career if it weren't for Dave. He helped guide my love for design and my unwillingness to give up into a career path that led me to many adventures. I am able to support my family and have a future because of him. Dave embodies the best in teachers and leaders, I'm grateful for the short time I had in his class.

I took drawing I with Higgins, and I throughly enjoyed it. If youre not super skilled in the art field, thats fine, (I know I am not) but dont expect to get an A, but someone that trys hard can definitely get a B+, even if theyre not the greatest artist. Another tip, pay attention to what he says to focus on.

Absolutely loved Dave as a professor. He has a great memory with people, and has a way of inspiring you to reach more potential as an artist. He doesn't go very in-depth with class critiques at all, but is always there to talk with you 1-on-1. Attendance & participation are important. Awesome person, highly recommend as a teacher.

Took a Hybrid course with this Professor and couldn't of been happier with my selection. I really enjoyed the course overall and even what I learned! He is gracious with extra credit and enjoys when people participate too. You can tell he enjoys what he does.

Dave is an awesome professor, but more importantly a great person. He's very clear with what he wants, and if you have issues, simply talk to him. He's very understanding. By far the best professor I have ever had thus far. I'd highly recommend taking a class of his, if not two. He's very inspiring and interested in his students.

I find David endlessly interesting. He always has time for his students and will go above and beyond for any one of them. He is by far the most inspiring prof. I have ever met. If I could become half the teacher he is, I would be happy.
