Insane amount of reading and work for one class. Better hope this is your only class of the semester if you want to do well. Awful. DO NOT TAKE.

Comment:
The amount of work required for this class at the end of the semester is ridiculous and extremely overwhelming. There is A LOT of reading that must be done and not a lot of time to do it. Its like he forgets that you have other classes. His instructions for the papers he assigns are unclear and confusing. I would not recommend taking this class.

Ridiculously unrealistic expectations. Unclear instructions, explanations. Only take this class if you're interested in reading fifty page writings by English professors using unnecessarily pompous vocabulary to impress the other English professors reading their paper

Has been teaching a long time. He is very interesting, but gets side tracked a little too much. Quizzes are fairly easy, except the will be some questions that he didnt get to cover because of stories. Only a 10 dollar pack of notes to buy, so its cheap!

He was very good. He tried his very best to keep it interesting. Took a 25 question quiz every week. The lowest one will be dropped. He is also very nice and has a good sense of humor.

I have earned a 3.8 in my previous quarters at OU and there is no way that this class was as easy as everyone claims it to be. He said he's been teaching psychology since 1971 and he hasn't changed our packet of notes since 1996... therefore, the notes are outdated, his teaching style is very "you-get-it-or-you-don't" and that's not beneficial!

Easy class. He does get off topic a lot and he constantly relates the topic to examples in his own life like his dog, granddaughter, daughter, wife, etc. You only spend $10 on the text. Easy class but don't expect to learn a lot.

He got side tracked a lot and the material on the quizzes was not always what was focused on in class.

Johnson is a funny old guy with a lot of experience in the field. Bring your $10 book, take a few notes, listen to his stories, study the night before the test (T/F, fill-in, every other week, he drops the lowest), and you'll get an A or A-. Oh, and ignore any student in the class that begins a sentence with "Well, I'm pre-med and I'm awesome..."

Easy class and a good professor. Tests are the easiest tests ever becaue they are right out of the cheap book of notes he makes you get for 10 bucks. Fun class and the prof is very interesting

It may be easy, but it's reminiscent of a 4th grade science class. Professor tells stories of deer in his backyard and of fishing the whole class. It won't help your academic career and it's hard to motivate yourself to go. Take it for an easy A, but don't expect to get anything useful from it.

EASY!!! Uses a book he puts together himself, relies on videos a lot, uses small, frequent wuizzes instead of big exams. The class is easy but you'll learn a lot.
