Exhibited a great understanding of the content. He is extra AF tho. Uses big and unnecessary words. Make sure you read thoroughly, maybe even a couple of times because the quiz questions are hard. Be prepared to write notes because he does not use a powerpoint. Tests were easy because they were either take home or he hinted at what would be on it

One of my favorite professors at UH. Probably the most articulate teacher I've ever had. Really pushes his students to think analytically about sometimes controversial topics. Will definitely make you think about certain issues and ideas differently. Being graded based on only 3 exams and attendance is my only complaint.

Comment:

One of my favorite professors I've ever had. Very engaging lecturer and makes the material very clear and easy to understand. Instead of just dumping a bunch of information on us, he breaks it down into main ideas that are easy to grasp. I enjoyed his teaching style a lot, no textbook, just 3 novels to real which were all pretty interesting.

Not very intellectually stimulating, he seems like he comes from a small and white sheltered town the way he expressed many of his political views. His final exam (scantron test)speaks clearly about his inability to properly assess students. More sociology than political science oriented...
