One of the best teachers I have ever experienced. I credit him with helping me become the teacher I am today. I disagree with other reviewers-he made it very clear that he believed in us, thought we were interesting, and expected quite a bit from us. Maybe these other folks weren't up for that?

Marshak was one of the most tedious teachers ever. I "earned" a 4.0 in his class by feeding back to him whatever he wanted to hear, which you understood within a week as he is a practiced pontificator. From him I learned what kind of educator

Marshak is arrogant, opinionated and unwilling to grow as a person. He wanted us to be "reflective," yet he never thought he could learn ANYTHING from us as citizens.

Dr. Marshak provided me with the most useful tools and knowledge that I brought to the classroom with me. He is progressive, helpful and has a true vision for the future of education. He is needed back in the high school classroom.
