Simply amazing if you get into the zone of his jokes. He really shines light upon what you may not noticed around you. As long as you attend the classes and read whats to be read or maybe extra, you're bound to score the class quizzes, except a trick question or two. Just go to class, its fun once you're part of it.

He is probably the most down to earth professor you will ever have, and that is why people respect him. His rants make his lectures 1000% better and after lectures you can ask the guy anything. Most likely the best computer science prof at Guelph.

McCaughan is probably the best CS prof at Guelph. If you see that he's teaching a course, you should probably take it (2750, 3110, 4650). Not only is he hilarious and irreverent, but also knows his stuff really well. He encourages those who put in the effort. He will not take kindly to you if you skip class and don't put in the required effort.

Dave has got some of the most entertaining lectures I've ever attended, although he is not for the feint-of-heart. I can guarantee he will insult you. He is surprisingly approachable, but you need to be able to take harsh criticism. All of his assignments are useful and teach you a wide array of useful topics. Over, great prof, but hard as hell

Great Prof. Not to say he is easy, his assignments are challenging, but realistic and a great tool to help you become a better programmer. He is an amazing lecturer, he is crude, funny and informative. AND if you're lucky enough, You may even get to watch power puff girls as a last class bonus. Great Great Prof, Highly reccommended!
