Comment:
Attendance is mandatory w/a sign in sheet. He is very dry & explains things numerous times so people can understand. 2 books required but readings weren't discussed. There are in class group work - nothing hard. Graded on participation, 2 page paper opinion/responses to questions he asked or what was watched and a final paper. Easy but boring.

I have taken Prof. Corbett twice - great prof. Extremely knowledgeable and brings a lot of personal experience to the classroom. He is very well respected by students and colleagues alike. Attendance is essential to doing well. Five 2-page papers, 6 page take-home final, and 15 page term paper He buys everyone pizza for the last class.

Dr. Corbett is a very nice guy, but be expected to work in this class. The class revolves around a very intense research paper. I gave a moderate amount of time to this class and got an A no problem. And he gives free pizza at the end of the semester!!!

A very knowledgable professor who anyone can learn a lot from. The course is very writing intensive and lots of group work. However, the course is very valuable for those who wish to do well in futher studies and career tasks. Overall, a good guy and cool that he gives free pizza. Highly recommended for those who are serious in their studies.

He's clear to the point of being a little boring, but he's helpful and you can get as much out as you would like.

He could do with making the subject more interesting. Don't go if you hate group work. Do go if you like Domino's Pizza.

He lays out exactly what he wants from you. All you have to do is go to class, and do a weekly 1-2 page paper. At the end of the semester you have a 15 page paper due. Not bad at all if you keep up. You'll get an A if you go to class & put in the work

I agree with what the other person wrote. If you're not a cop don't bother he doesn't care and you're not going to do well.

Unless you're a cop don't bother taking his classes, he doesn't even want to know you exist.
