Comment:
Professor Meeler was a tough teacher. Certainly not the worst but all your grades come from weekly online tests, which were tricky, a midterm paper, and a final. His lectures were sometimes off topic and he was pretty bland about some topics, even though he cares about the environment. Liked him fine, but not my favorite class.

Comment:
Dr. Meeler is blatantly rude to students, sarcastic to the point that it is hurtful, does not care about his students, doesn't even seem to care about teaching. I do not recommend him whatsoever. The people who go to class are more punished than the ones who don't.

There's a handful of essays that is shorter than two pages. He's unresponsive to emails and overly sarcastic during class. Don't expect feedback on your papers; he will tell you to refer to the rubric for any questions. I had to S/U the class.

Professor Meeler is an awesome teacher, but this class is SO challenging. Dr. Meeler is available when needed and made this class very fun and interesting. Don't take this class unless you're seriously interested, though. It is tedious but in the end a lot of fun.

During this course, I felt like I had learned very little. But now at the end, I realize that I have learned quite a lot. Dr. Meeler gives quizzes and two essays in addition to the final. Don't miss any of the quizzes, they are online. Since there are so few grades, you need to try your hardest to do well.

Most sarcastic worst professor of my college career. He will not work with you for disabilities, heavy work schedule, and has no regard for what goes on in your life outside of his class. I had to respond to a natural disaster and he gave me only a 48-hour extension and ultimately a 0 on the paper. He thinks he is a god of a professor.

As long as you really read the book and pay attention and take notes in class, this will be an easy A. All of the assignments were due online besides the final exam. Overall Dr. Meeler is a fair professor and with a little work, you can earn an A

I took this class online, and it was very difficult for me. You complete problem sets everyday on Aplia.com and you have to read everyday. The test on blackboard was extremely hard for me. I would think that I did good on it but found out that I failed. He always respond back to your emails and he have online sessions on certain days.

Meeler is VERY passionate abt Philosophy. Do not take if you want an easy grade!!! The tests are short answer & essay...a bit hard if you don't come to class or read the book. He's a bit condesending. The final was easy though...all ?s were from previous tests & allowed to use an index card...meant you could have all the answers w/ you on test day!
