Dr. Miller's class was definitely one of the worst I have taken here at USC. It was in the Nursing auditorium, around 300+ students yet part of your grade was participation. No one wanted to participate in a room where you needed a microphone to be heard, especially when the work involved memorizing how HE analyzed the stories. All around bad.

Quintessential college professor. Instruction doesn't seem to be the man's first love - but who can blame him? Most individuals in the course when I took it had no interest and made no real effort. If you can learn material on your own, you'll do fine.

He's a nice guy and can be funny sometimes, but the classes are SO boring and he just talks endlessly. The only grades are 4 papers that you pick the topic of. If you don't do well on the papers, you won't do well in the class. You have to read for every class to.

miller is a very mean professor. he singles out students and harasses them in class. he once told a woman in my class that she had the intelligence of a five-year-old. i have never had a professor this rude. his tests are ridiculously hard.

Miller is from Scotland, and sometimes appears to be a strange little man. He is funny almost all of the time, although I don't think he means to be. He lectures straight out of the book, and is a little confusing. Tests are pretty difficult.
