Easily the best professor I had freshman year. Sucked to hear that he was retiring. The class itself is pretty easy; a few 10pt quizzes and 5 speeches, but he really cared about what you took from this class. I can honestly say that i am a more confident speaker after taking his class

Such a sweet guy! Gave me 100% on all my speeches the only other grades were 10 pt quizzes over the chapters in the book. He is super funny and really cares about your improvement. If you're an honors student he is defiantly way easier than any non honors teacher!!

I loved Dr. Keeling. He made the class fun and enjoyable and I never worried about him judging me for my speaking abilities. I feel that I grew a lot in my ability to talk in front of people and I'm sad he'll be retiring soon and I won't get the chance to take another class with him.

Easier than any regular public speaking class. Basically gives 100% on any speech if you just show up and look like you put forth a bit of effort. Do yourself a favor, honors students, and take this class.

If you're in Honors College--take Keeling for COM115. It was by far my easiest class this semester. There are no tests, midterms or finals, just 5 speeches and "quizzes" throughout October. At one point Keeling was the President of the university and always has funny stories to share about his time in office.

Dr. Keeling is a really nice guy. This was his only class this semester, and he was extremely laid back. It was Honors, but I heard it was FAR easier than regular Public Speaking. There is no midterm or final, but you take quizzes over the textbook all of October (however, he may goof and decide to give everyone 100). Five speeches, really easy.

Dr. Keeling is such a nice guy! This was my easiest class this semester. He didn't make us turn in outlines or anything for our speeches. All we had to do was deliver the speech. We didn't have a midterm or a final, either. Take public speaking with Dr. Keeling!

Easiest and least stressful class of my college career, even though it was honors. Keeling is very nice, and understands if you need to rearrange your speech schedule. I don't know how you wouldn't get an A in this class.

Totally awesome. Great professor, explains everything well, super helpful. As long as you have a speech and show up on the day you have to give it, you'll get an A. Honors version was super easy. Had a 100.

This class is SUPER easy. Seriously, even the honors section was a breeze. As long as you do your speech and it is relevant to the topic, you will get an A. I would highly suggest taking Dr. Keeling's class.

Dr. Keeling is so nice! I was scared for public speaking, but he created a very comfortable environment. He's not strict about what you use to give your speech. You don't have to dress up, write an outline, or be taped while you present. It's an easy A.

I do not understand politics at all and that was essentially the theme of his class, but all we really did was watch The West Wing every day. You have to read the book and you have a research paper at the end, but you will never regret a class with Dr. Keeling. I ended up loving this class despite the topic.
