I loved him! He is really funny if you enjoy a sarcastic sense of humor. He does pick on students a lot but he's harmless. The class becomes very easy and clear once you understand what he wants. I got an A in ENC1101 and 1102

Dr.Mumford isnt a bad english teacher, but he is very dependant on the writing center. He does pick on his students, yet the only ones he picks on most are the ones who stand out the most, talkitive, etc. He grades tough, but hes not really hard.

Dr. Mumford isnt really a bad teacher, but if you really want the best help from this guy, you need to talk to him 1 on 1. He is very dependant on the UCF writing center..... very. He is a very sarcastic person and likes to pick on his students alot so if you cant take insults dont take this teacher

not very helpful, talks loud and sarcasticly often. High expectations on 4 papers, lets you resubmit F's, then if you get an A, he factors in the F so you really get a C. Know it all. Easy if you're an excellent writer and can take negitive commets well.
