Comment:

The class was an easy A, but it was also somewhat disappointing. I learned almost nothing. The last few papers had no feedback at all. She also didn't even bother grading the final projects which demanded a lot of research. The overall work load was very light, though.

Comment:

Dr. Walters is a great professor! Very organized and clear with her instructions on assignments, letting you know exactly what she expects from you. I have only had her for online classes and would highly recommend her. There are a few writing assignments, but nothing too intense. Read the books and sign in to webcourses often. Somewhat easy A.

Comment:

This is the third class I have taken with Dr. Walters. Bit of a tough grader on papers/projects but fair and what she corrects on helps improve your writing. Her lectures and canvas page are very organized & easy to follow, and she is great at explaining exactly how she wants something done. She also responds in a timely manner & is very helpful.

Comment:

Dr Walters is a great professor for an online class. You will be writing for all assignments in this class and you need to refresh yourself on ChicagoTurbian style as that is what she uses. She was tough on my papers, but admittedly, I am not a very good writer. If you like films and writing about them, then this class is for you.

Wonderful class. Modules to read every week, sometimes with quizzes. Very simple if u read. 3 books, not textbooks, novels. Very interesting. A paper is assigned after each book, but again, easy to do if u read. Loved this course. Would take her for every class if i could!

I took US HISTORY: 1939-1960 online. The content is easy to understand. Each week you read through the module and complete the corresponding assignment. If you read, you will get 100s on the quizzes. Reading is very short, concise, to the point. A few papers, also short and easy if you put in the work. Will take her again.

I love Dr. Walters. She is one of the best professors I have had at UCF in my four years. She is helpful, her modules online are interesting and relevant and she is very clear on what she wants in assignments. I will take every class I possibly can with her.

She's great teacher. Discussions aren't bad and quite interesting. Must do the readings to pass the quizzes which aren't hard. A few 4-5 page papers. Took online and if you keep up with it, turn things in, and put some effort into the work not a bad class. Taking her again!

Awesome professor! Responds within 24 hours unless she's away. Very helpful! Have met with her several times and is always helpful and understanding. LOVE this professor! 4th class ive taken with her and I have gotten an A everytime. Online postings, papers, postings but everything is managable. Some reading is required. keep up. responds VERY quickly to emails and online discussion boards. i would highly recommend! I'm taking another class with her in the spring.

I have taken two online classes with Dr. Walters and both times I enjoyed it. I learned so much. I highly recommend her. She does asign a lot of reading. But it is all very interesting information. She is awsome about answering emails quickly often times in as little as a few minutes. Highly recommend her!!!

I took this course online, and it was easy to keep up with. Just weekly reading assignments and either an assignment or quiz each week, both quick and easy. Exams are easy if you do all the other stuff I just mentioned. Great class.
