Comment:

I had been excitedly anticipating organic chemistry. Now, I want nothing more to do with chemistry. The problem sets were very hard; the tests were harder. I often felt stupid asking for help. I mostly relied on the book. It was complicated and unhelpful. Lectures were exactly from the book, so class time was unnecessary. Lab was mostly good.

I had David for Chemistry 100 lab. Most everything he teaches is very straight forward, but some of the questions for lab reports can be quite challenging. Pay attention and read all the directions in the lab and you should do fine. David sometimes has a roundabout way of answer questions which can make things tricky, but in the end helps you.

Not a fan. He's the most condescending professor I've ever come across. Extremely knowledgeable, yes, but more apt to ask trick questions than provide advice that leads to answers. Makes the class so hard that you end up studying to pass his tests and not to actually learn chemistry.

David is a wonderful teacher. I'm not the best at Chemistry, but he teaches in such a way that it makes sense. He teaches in a way that I'm not used to, but it's helpful because I have to reteach myself new ways to learn and focus. He will also work with you until it clicks in your head.
