yes there is more work in this class then most others. yes there are online videos you must watch. The reason he gives out more work is because he just wants you to understand the material. He teaches with fun examples that he explains really well. I do not see how you can not understand something after watching the videos and attending class.

I was honestly very excited to learn about law and how it works but when I found out I have to watch his lessons online in my own time thats when I started getting hesitant. It is so hard to study for tests for this class and his writing assignments he straight up told us he puts in random questions and doesn't even want that answer.. coooool

David is great. Yes he makes his students work for it, but with a subject such as law you can't expect much less. The material can be dry and the webcasts seem lengthy, but he goes to great effort to ensure his students are prepared with the knowledge, not only for his class, but the business world itself. If you care, he cares. Simple.

At first he comes off very polite and innocent. Once you get to know him and his class however, he is very rushed and it seems like he doesn't want students to succeed. Tests are extremely rushed and he is a very hard marker. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS

HE IS THE WORST!! do NOT take a class from him! He is so boring. He acts very nice and innocent, but screws you over when it comes down to it. I would never take a class from him again! HORRIBLE!!!!

David is a great instructor! He is probably the best to have for this class. He really knows his stuff. Considering the difficulty of the class, he does a good job of delivering the information and explaining "why" when it comes to the class discussions on the questions he has prepared. He is very friendly if you need to ask him about anything.

Stick to Law Dave.. Dave is a great Law teacher, but when it comes to Advanced Samll Business he is the PITTS. Boering classes and he marks attendance.I learned more from the 4 guest speakers than I did from Dave all year. Any prof could teach this class better than Dave.. Made a 3 credic class harder than most 5 creditors.

Yeah the law material was dry, but it's law! I never missed a single class because I decided I was going to be excited about learning something new, and I was rewarded accordingly. He is a great instructor, I hope to get another like him at the U of L for classes in the way of law.

He knows what hes talking about and thereby doesnt give away marks for fancy fluff answers. Hes tough, but fair and enjoyable. Attend class, DO YOUR READING!!!! and you`ll learn more than any other teacher.

Incredibly hard and incredibly boring teacher. He knows his stuff, but he lacks the ability to relate his knowledge to the students as well as keep their attention. In any of his classes, take a look around at the halfway mark and you'll see probably a good 1/4 of the class sleeping or nodding off.
