Turns what should be an interesting subject into a frustrating ordeal. PAY ATTENTION in lectures and READ THE TEXTBOOK. He hands out study guides, but you will definitely need to study beyond them. However, can be funny and interesting at times.

I wouldn't call his teaching too hard to follow, but he tends to give study terms that barely appear on the test.The tests were a bit unfair, he tests on history of subject instead of understanding of the term.I wouldn't advise taking this prof, but if you do, make sure you read the example boxes in the text.They make up alot of the tests.

Its a shame that Dr. Webking couldn't complete the class, as he is one of the best profs I have ever had. Definitely does his best to make dry material interesting and fun. Would recommend you take a class with him if you get the chance.

His academic and life experiences make him and his way of teaching extraordinary. The course load is heavy, three exams and two papers, but easy too. He does not hesitate to speak his mind and allow others to speak theirs. Overall a great prof, I enjoyed his class, learned a lot, and got an (A) with moderate efforts.

I love this man... he is so entertaining and knows his material b/c he lived through all of it and is still around and fiesty enough to tell us about it. He loves profanity and watching a 80 year old man complusivly swear is something of an experience.
