Alas, I only ever had one class with Palmer, but he has been a wonderful mentor throughout my degree. Treats his students like real musicians, and is always willing to talk through problems, and he's great to TA for. And wow, his musicianship really is THAT good. Cheers!

Prof. Palmer makes super skills barable and even somewhat fun. I'm not a fan of the 8:30 am class but thats not his fault! He's a jolly old man and he's passionate about teaching. He's also very willing to help and is usually around to do so.
