Honestly, I would not tell you to take this professor if you can avoid him. But if you have to take Math 1530 you have no choice. But you can cope with him, his tests aren't as bad as everyone says they are and if you feel it is necessary you can pass/fail the class. His class is extremely boring though.

HERE!! He's a really good teacher. Sometimes droneing but I think he's a good teacher. HEREHEREHERE HERE... last time he said that 200 times and more by the middle of class!!! counting "HERE" is a good way to pass time in his class.

Dr. Patterson gets a bad rap. He is extremely intelligent but very monotone. He is not good for non-computer science majors to take. He is thorough and fair and will work with you until you understand something.
