Dave is one of the best professors (if not THE best professor) I've ever had. His lectures are extremely informative and you can really tell that he takes pride in his work and cares a lot about his students. The material is tough and you have to work for it although his tests come straight from the notes. WONDERFUL professor!

Dave is hands down the best teacher and mentor I've ever had. He is truly passionate about what he does and it really shows through his lectures and labs. He has been my honors coordinator, academic advisor, and professor for multiple classes. He teaches in such a way that inspires you to want to learn and writes excellent recommendations.

Professor Pindel is an amazing teacher. His lectures are informative and interesting. He gives such great feedback on essays/presentations. He definitely wants to see you achieve. I joined his class late in the semester and he let me do extra credit (I approached him) in order to make up points.

Dave is awesome! He teaches a very difficult set of courses, but he knows what he is doing. On day one he will give you an exact schedule for the semester, and he won't deviate from it unless something causes class to get cancelled, but then expect him to ramp up the note taking to catch up! Very clear expectations for projectstests. Great guy!

Pindel is phenomenal. I took every class I possibly could that he taught; General Biology, History of Biological Ideas, Ecology, and an Honors Forum class. He is by far one of the best teachers I have ever had. He loves what he does and it shows, he presents the material in a way that helps you understand the material instead of just memorizing it.

Dave is an phenomenal teacher. He really puts forth an effort to help students succeed in class and is always willing to work with you if you have questions. It's obvious he loves teaching biology and is always fun to be around. His grading method is very fair. My only disappointment is that he won't be my teacher anymore after I graduate.

Bio is really straightforward at CCC, & Pindel does a great job at keeping it that way. His lectures are thorough. He takes the entire lecture time. You will be taking notes the entire time, & you should be taking notes the entire time bc his tests come straight from the notes. Just memorize the notes. He is a really nice,and easy professor :)

Awesome teacher! Very organized, stays on topic, uses a power point, makes class interesting. Gives a lot of extra credit work for class and lab. In lab and lecture he is always willing to answer questions. He is hard but fair; you get quite a bit out of every lecture. He also has a voice that is pleasant to listen to, you don't fall asleep. :)
