George is a great teacher. my semester is almost over and he has helped me retain information I never thought I could understand. His teaching is very relaxed and it makes it fun to learn math. I never though I would pass this class, its been so long since I took math. Now I am thinking of taking another course that I wouldn't need, but want now.

He is a really easy going guy. He is fun & jokes around often. I like that he doesn't make his classroom atmosphere crazy strict. He has take home quizzes every week that resemble problems on his tests. I did hmwk every night & practiced problems a bunch. Hurlburt is really willing to help & will explain stuff over & over again if you need it.

Hurlburt is one of the best teachers you'll find at CCC. He is very easy going and willing to help his students. However, he teaches at a fast pace so if you have no interest in math, then you may want to think of another teacher. Overall, if you are a Math major or just have fun with it, then Hurlburt is one of the best to learn from!

This class was the first time I really understood algebra. He's very good at explaining math concepts. It was a pretty hard class and he expects you to work hard, but he's a great teacher. He may seem a little unfriendly at first, but he's a really personable guy once you get to know him. I'm glad I took this class.
