great prof. not good if you dont know anyting in solid state but a great and knowledgeable prof and helpful if you did quite well in eece352 class. this course is the extension of eece352 so you need to know the stuff well to do good in his class. assignments are interesting and you need to understood the material thoroughly to do good in final.

Only graduate students rate him good. He's too smart for an average students. His textbook is useless. The book does nothing but to confuse you even more. He only cares about the top students in the class. You won't learn anything from his class if you are an average guy. He sucks at teaching. one of the worst course from eece

He gives too many details that students dont need which confuses them. He doesn't solve problems in class and sometimes doesnt give answers to hwk problems :? Problem solving is the best way to learn. Undergraduates doesnt do research they learn. They need practice not theory.

My favorite professor! Very nice professor, cares for his students, and makes sure his students understand each and every concept. Be prepared to work hard in his class though -- his assignments take quite a bit of time. Reasonable midterm and final.
