He is old, but likes what he teaches alot... he can get boring but all you have to do for his tests is read the text and maybe memorize a short list or two. girls... there are SO many guys in this class... that might wake you up if you fall asleep ;-). i have only been bored a few times, but then, i like this stuff.

This is the only one teaching Exercise Phys. So you have no choice. He was rude to me when I had Tendonitis in my Achilles and had a doctor's note that stated I could not participate in strenuous activity. My advice, wait until Gergley starts teaching it, he will be such a relief

YOU HAVE NO CHOICE YOU HAVE TO TAKE THIS IDIOT FOR EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY. This guy is so senile that he explains problem solving incorrectly, then when you take the test and do it the way he explains it is counted wrong. I have a close to genius IQ and had to take his class 3 times to graduate. I had to keep dropping b/c of the frustration level due to incoherent rambling and incorrect teaching Philosophy and Ideals. Bring a pillow or a gun to shoot yourself with.

Dr. Shows is the worst Professor I have ever had. He acts like he could care less to help you, and has even said that he feels that it his responsibility to weed out average students. I am in graduate school, and I have never had a class that was taught so poorly as Exercise Physiology.
