Till is AWESOME!! He is so interesting and smart. I learned so much about writing and I have a new found interest in poetry after taking his ENG 1020 class. He is very funny and witty. I really enjoyed his class. He is teaching post-retirement, so you should take his class while you still can, it will change your life!!

This is a great professor. He lectures in 1020, but you don't take notes, since he bases your grade on a few papers you write throughout the semester and some of it is participation. He takes roll for a while, but not that long. The papers can be challenging if you aren't that great at english, but he grades very fairly and there weren't that many.

I LOVE HIM! Miss him and wish him health in his retirement. APSU is lost its best professor when he retired. So caring, full of stories, smoked a bit much!

Kind of quiet, and the class seemed really long. Brilliant professor, but not the one to take during lunch time.

This was the guy to take American Lit. from. He has the best stories- hangin' out with Allen Ginsberg et al. I don't know if AP can stand to lose him. One of my favorites.

He has a lot of experience to share. Not so much as far as life experience, but a great deal of knowledge of Literature. I am learning a lot, mostly a point of view. Less information, more of seeing the world through his eyes.

Brings up alot of good points and 'epiphanies' in his lectures, read more stories and poems than actual writing assignments, assignments given a week from due date, usually over a weekend
