Comment:

This was an awesome class. The professor was very passionate and made the 3 1/2 hours go by rather smoothly. Attendance for the lecture is not mandatory but the recitation that comes immediately after is so you might as well show up. You also don't need to take notes since he posts the lecture slides along with a study guide on courseweb.

supposed to be a easy class, but i didnt try and still passed. Barely studied. He is intelligent, but doesnt know how to teach. You dont need to go to class unless you want extra credit. Recitation is mandatory it is 20% of grade, but easy. studied night before got 78 on exam, so if you study more then me easy A. H66is study guides will save you

For a gen-ed science class, it was pretty tough. But he is there to help as long as you email him and his curves are generous enough that as long as you attend class and study diligently, you will most likely get a B+ or higher. His lectures are long but interesting and he is very intelligent! One of my favorite professors at Pitt.

This class is super easy! I studied an hour before each exam, and got B's on all of them. He curves like crazy (a 74% is a B). His lectures are extremely boring, but take him if you want an easy A. Just study a bit more than me and you'll be fine.

Very intelligent professor, very clear in lecture. Attendance is taken through a computer program/remote, so attendance will affect your grade. Book is somewhat relevant, and lets just say on the first exam i read about 1 chapter out of 5 that was required, took scarce notes and still scored a 34/40 without intense study. Easy class, just pay attention sometimes

this course was easy - all the notes were on courseweb and you just studied them a few days before the tests. he made us use these remote controls and took attendance and asked us questions, so you had to go to class or your grade would be affected. the content of this course was ok (astronomy?)
