As a lecturer he is very thorough and makes things understood with many humourous examples. Seems to be very honest and not afraid to ask those really tough or uncomfortable questions. He is very down-to-earth, not full of himself. I really enjoy his lectures.

I think Prof Murray is a fantastic lecturer and a very good help outside of class as well. He is hard at times and expects a lot from his students, but he also gives a lot and asks for little in return other than that his students show up to class do the work and be prepared. He's as good as they get in University

As long as you're not a sinner, expect to be treated with respect. Not a very approachable person, in general. Enthusiastic for the material, but tends to avoid grammatical explanations in favour of philosophical banter.

excellent lecturer. you will get along just fine in his class if you are not taking it as a bird course and you have a good work ethic. be prepared to get the bias oppinion of a great religious classisist!
