Doesn't go past what something is. Once he says it, he assumes you understand it. Nice guy and you can understand every word he says, but his clicker quiz after an unclear concept method is tough. Brace yourself.

Decent teacher. Involved, and usually through. Demos are pretty cool. The only negative i can recall is the time he spent deriving like 3 or 4 really long equations where the steps wern't explained throughly. (Would be easier if you could have these explaination on the slide so you can follow along as hes doing it on the blackboard. Cool name.

Smart teaching ideas, he is always trying to creat enthusiasm. Venus is one of my best professors this year. Serious about his work ethic, yet willing to add a few creative jokes to help us keep awake for the 8:30 shift (attendance jokes were classic)
