By far the worst teacher I have ever had. Wiens' instructions were in the middle of 10 page documents, and were not clear. He had "checklists" that didn't help, and then would bash you on the final project. I spent 22 hours on a final project only to get 50%. He would dock massive marks for small questionable errors, and treated you like garbage

alright well. if i could compare his teaching ability to smell. he would reek! yeah he was really bad. i would put in hours of effort and his feedback would be, "wow, I CANNOT believe that you did that." he would take every mistake personally and never give proper feedback on how to improve. He was a jerk, disrespectful and annoying.

OMG this guy teaches you absolutely nothing in class, but thinks he is. Then he expects you to put the nothing that he's taught you into a big frikkin project, with absolutely NO guidance. He says his favourite part of the semester is the end...yeah so he can destroy you on your project after he taught you nothing. OK I lied - frontload, frontload

Teaches you nothing in class - no exercises - but expects you to know everything. Hard marker! Doesn't use a textbook, so you have to use all his stupid printouts. If you don't want to muck up your GPA than don't take him. Class averages are typically between C+ to B-.

Took this class over the summer (online). It is an university class, so some level of understanding/writting is required. You don't use books during this class and he has all of the information online which makes it great if you want to work and study. You can print off the information to take them everywhere! Got an A- with some lvl of effort.

I took CMNS1140 online with Wiens. He was very helpful and very accommodating. He was quick with responses over emails and gave great feedback on discussion boards to help you further understand. His test were straight from the PDF study material. I would highly recommend taking his course, he makes the content interesting. Two thumbs up!

Do not take this professor. Very hard marker. With his class expect to be in C range. Even though you spend a lot's of time on doing assignements and studying for tests its never enough. He will find any mistake and deduct marks for anything. He makes this course is unpleasurable as possible.

Outstanding professor. After taking David's class, your communication skills will improve ten-fold, and using those communication skills in the outside world will yield amazing results. No class is more practical and applicable than David's class. He also offers free consultation to all his ENTR students for life!

As long as you show up to class, this class is fairly easy with David. He is a nice guy who actually has interest in his students succeeding! I learned a lot from him in this class and he made it fun and interesting!

great prof....i learned lots....he explains things well......easy marker if you follow instructions...doesn't mark much for oral presentations though :(....he likes to make jokes (most of which i didnt get)....i highly recommend him
