Dr. Wissman writes his own textbook, which saves you money and comes with step by step examples of how to work each type of problem. As long as you do the homework and take notes in class, you can do well. He allows you to correct your homework for full credit as well. Dr. Wissman is a pretty awesome dude, and I would take his class again.

A lot of reading articles online (no textbook) and writing discussion boards and papers. You can get a good grade if you put effort and time into it and follow directions. I learned a lot in this class, very interesting. Posts grades on canvas quickly. Responds to messages. Provides feedback. Very fair teacher.

I took this course with a guy by the name of Proctor last semester who made this course 100 X harder. Dr.Wissman is awewome! He explains the work in detail and his work book and homework are very helpful. Im horrible in math and im passing with an B+ mid semester.
