Professor Wolber is THE best. Such a chill guy and is always willing to make time to help his students. It's definitely not an easy class and you really have to work hard for the grade you receive but I had a lot of fun in this class and learned a lot from him.

doable projects ever 3 weeks. Easy on the grading, easy projects to do. Help from a teacher is abundant. Ignore previous reviews for this course because he just wrote a new book and made a new class on it and he helps ALOT. midterm 1 can be upped a grade level. All quizes can be raised, just go out of class hours and he gives points. Would take EZb

Ugh, this guy cannot be described. He's good as a person but not a professor. I will never take him again. I am a straight A student but he was horrible and didn't give ma a good grade. Quizzes are really easy if you concentrate and do you projects. I say he's a C+ prof.

He is a very good teacher and a very nice guy. He states at the start of the semester that it is important to do your best. If you do, you're fine. If not, you'll get into a lot of problems with the homework. Fortunately I did my best and I'll most likely finish this class with an A. I like the extra credit and code camp opportunities. They save me

Wolber offers a lot of extra credit on weekly quizzes and apps. You have to put in a bit of effort to get the apps done properly. There are quizzes every Tuesday and no mid term or final.

We made some pretty cool apps in class. Go to class and make an effort and you'll get an A. I didn't, and my grade reflected that. Don't make the same mistakes I made. That being said, Wolber is one hell of a guy.

Super helpful and sweet professor. His class can be challenging since the material is tough, but he is always willing to help and really wants to see his students succeed. If you show up to class and really put an effort into projects it will reflect well on your grade. Really cool guy!

Took Computing/Mobile Phones, Robots and the Web. Chill, very friendly, down-to-earth, Wolber always taught class with a dopey smile on his face. You can miss a few classes as long as you keep/catch up. The mid-term and final were pretty hard but just talk to him and he'll clarify anything youd on't understand. Satisfied the math core!

If you think this class is going to be easier than a math class, think again. I got an A+ in statistics and a C in this class. Everyone loves Wolber, he is a nice guy, but he is not good at explaining things. This is a quote from Wolber: "It's these functions that munch the thing." Oh, ok, I completely understand now!... NOT. Tests are impossible.

Nice guy, not a good prof. Even though he's always willing to help, he's REALLY BAD at explaining how to use the programs. The class is seriously just guess-and-check for the whole semester. If the only reason you're taking the class is because you suck at math, you'll just find out you suck at programming too.

nice guy, always pushing due dates back, sometimes forgets how to program himself, sometimes uses analogies that further complicate the concept, forgets to silence his cell phone, interrupts class to greet tardy students, but gets the job done. His tests are very awkwardly worded and unclear.

Prof. Wolber's assignments are very unclear and his lectures are difficult to understand. I went to his office hours three times and he wasn't there. I do not recommend this professor. For the money we spend we should definitely expects better.

I thought Wolber was an excellent Professor. He will help you if you ever need help. His lectures may sometimes be confusing, but the material is also difficult. If you don't have any programming experience, you will have to work very hard and fast.

For all his faults (his own agenda, unclear requirements, the constant random babble) .. he does have good intentions and is totally willing to sit down and help his students. That said, his classes are somtimes a cross between hazy and incomprehensible.

Horrible professor. Obsessed with his own project, and inflicts it on his students. He's somewhat knowledgeable, but not as much as he tries (and fails) to play himself off as. Generally pretty unhelpful, always seems to have his own agenda.
