Conservation biology would be great if it wasn't taught at night. Requires outside of class work, which is hard to fit into an already full schedule. Gives you sample test questions ahead of time. Alright guy most of the time.

I had Zegers for Zoo lab, and contrary to some of the ratings on here, I kind of liked him. He is a crotchety old man with a sarcastic sense of humor, and admittedly he grades some things harshly, but he more than lets you make up for that with tons of cake assignments. Zoo lab in general is just a pain, so much work every week!

I had him for ecology last semester. He wasn't that bad, it was an easy grade and the few assignment that he has you do aren't that hard either. Go to class, take notes otherwise the power points don't make sense, and study. When I had questions he answered them, this is college, you have to do a little work on your own.

I have given negative reviews to 2 professors in my 3 years at millersville and this guy will be my third. He just hands out powerpoints and goes over them in class. Most of the information is useless, just memorize the examples he gives. Also he is pretty much useless for help outside of class, I got the feeling i was inconveniencing him by asking

I had him for Zoo Lab and he was the worst Lab professor ever. You would hand in a Daphnia report and he would look at it and just write a big YOU SUCK on the paper and give it back to you. He's upset that he looks like Smegal so he grades you as if you should know what your supposed to be doing when he doesnt even know, he failed his own paper

I don't generaly have any gripes with my professors. Dr. Zegers is a nice man, but he is not clear in his directions. You never know what to expect. You can think you did everything correctly and find out that he wanted something else.

I'd like to know if these people who have given Zegers good ratings had the same Zegers I had. In my opinion he's TERRIBLY boring. Interesting subjects like ZOO and Ecology are made as boring as possible in his hands. Exams are tough with averages in the low 70s to upper 60s and shows no sympathy for students at all

Easy bio 101 class, he gives you a study guide the class before the test and the test is the study guide plus 10 MC questions and 2 more essays (stdy guide has 30 mc and 2 essays on it) Really nice guy
