Tests are hard, but he lectures well. Terms and Concepts sheets are very helpful. Can seem intimidating, but he's actually a very nice guy. I would recommend him.

This was a hard class and Dr. Reinking could be a little intimidating, but I learned a lot. It was interesting. Just study, do the work and come to class and lab prepared and you'll do well.

Zoology 211 is a HARD class, but it's not impossible. It requires a lot of time and energy, and although class attendance is not mandatory, you will not pass if you don't attend. Everything is lecture based (I never used my book). Dr. Reinking is strict, and sometimes comes off as condescending, but he will give you extra help if you ask.

Dr. Reinking is extremely intelligent and he can be strict, but I believe it is needed! I loved this class, even though it was a lot of work. MEMORIZE the terms and concepts sheet and you'll get A's on the exams!

He is an awesome teacher, i had him for Zoology and i will take him again. If you do the work and try hard you will pass. He is very helpful outside of class you just have to take the time to talk to him and he will help you. Great Teacher.

He makes this course very difficult if you are a student athlete. He does not make his schedule flexible if you must make up work, and will give you a 0 if you miss a quiz due to a game. Do not take him for lab if you do take zoo because he will keep you longer in lab for almost every class and is gone from the room longer than he is in it.

Animal physiology is much harder than zoology. All essay tests. But you still get terms & concepts sheets which is a huge advantage. Lab can be boring you understand everything you learn. Still makes you feel dumb if you ask a question but you can get over that quickly, lol.

Even though Zoology is a really difficult course, don't hate on Dr. Reinking, this class was designed to be the first in a series of 'knock out' courses for Biology majors before Reinking even came to MU. Also, he's extremely intelligent, if someone dislikes him because of the intense class they have to at least respect how much he knows/has done.

Dr. Reinking was a phenomenal professor. He is extremely educated in what he teaches and is a great source of information. Being a fellow veteran, I understand his, at times, strict attitude and what some may see as "belittling" but he only belittles you if you are dumb and do not do the work he tells you to do... GREAT PROFESSOR!!!!

I'm not even gonna lie, Larry Reinking lights up my life! Seriously my favorite class I had this past semester. It was the hardest class but Dr. Reinking made it interesting and fun. He is such a delight! I would absolutly take another class with him. I ADORE HIM! I miss seeing him every mon, wed and friday!

I loved Dr Reinking! Yeah, there was an insane amount of work, but it was really interesting. And once the last day to withrdraw passed, the course load got a little bit more manageable. Be prepared to spend a lot of time on labs and studying for tests. I would take reinking for another class in a heartbeat (although I am a bio major)

This guy does not care about students at all. If you know and love bio then you will love this course. If you need any help at all with bio then this is not the professor have. Wants people to withdraw so his pass/fail rating will go up. Has no interest in student?s wellbeing. Reinking = horrible human being + teacher.

He talks to you as if you have no reason to be on this earth. He is very blunt and likes to pick on your weaknesses and not your strengths. Basically he is a total a**, if you have to take the course do not take his lab. Try to avoid as much contact a possible with him.
