Comment:

Bakker is amazing! I had her my freshman year and her class was my favorite. She grades easy, does not give many assignments, and I never studied for anything except for the final exam. Although, it does take her a while to grade assignments and give things back to you, so don't expect things right away. As long as you show up, you'll be fine.

Comment:

Professor Bakker is by far the best professor I have this semester. I'd say she assigns a maximum of two hours of homework per week, usually less. She makes class go by quickly and encourages movement. You can miss class, but points will be taken away from presentations if you miss them. She's funny, understanding, and easy.

Yes, she's a little disorganized. But that's my only complaint. A genuinely friendly and caring prof. Comfortable with making some jabs at the class which I find hilarious. Very involved with her teaching, always moving. Her class is just plain fun and easy. I looked forward to her class.

The class was OK. The prof did not allow for any absences...so be careful not to get sick!!! Or make sure that you can make up 1 day of classwork (usually takes about 2-3 days of extra working out). A kind prof, but a little detached from students.

She may be a great gym professor, but she has NO IDEA how to teach anything else. She'd come to class completely unprepared, never handed out a syllabus or any sort of schedule, and we never knew about assignments more than 2 days in advance. I'm pretty sure SHE didn't even know the answers to half of her test questions.
