I took financial accounting with Anderson and really enjoyed her. You can tell she cares about her students. Tough class, but everyone has to take it and she's far better than the other accounting professors.

Prof. Anderson rocks. The first half of advanced accounting is pretty tough and the second half is easy but kind of boring, but Anderson makes me always want to go to class and learn the material. She's a solid choice for whatever accounting course you're taking.

Prof Anderson is the way to go. Most sought after accounting professor for a reason. Took three classes with her, honestly wish I could take more. Pretty clear cut and notes are thorough. She gets that the Advanced Accounting material is hard so the tests are not cumulative. She's really understanding, highly recommend.

Anderson does a great job of acting compassionate, but at the end of the day the tests are harder than she prepares you for. You will need to do significant studying on your own to master the material. She gives you the materials, but you have to have the drive. Don't get lulled into a false sense of security in this class.

If you're in the business school, you're forced to take 101. Anderson is probably the best professor to take it with. The class is just ridiculously hard because of the business school curve.

Professor Anderson rocks. Accounting 101 can be a challenging course, but I genuinely enjoyed this course with her. Anyone thinking about majoring in Accounting should definitely enroll in one of her sections.

Definitely, definitely, definitely take Anderson for Accounting. She's sweet, cares about her students, and is plainly a good professor. Don't worry about the easiness rating because every accounting class has the same tests with the same curve.

I honestly didn't think Anderson or accounting were as bad as everyone seems to think. I guess it's something that you either understand or don't. Anderson is very clear + generally the tests fairly represent the taught material. My big complaint are the group projects. Huge amounts of cheating happen regarding them. Take her for ACCT001.

Don't take anyone else for Accounting 101 - she is, hands down, the best. She is extremely helpful during office hours and tries her best to make herself available. Responds quickly to emails and always uploads a ton of practice problems before the exams. Get ready to prep hard for the exams and the final, but definitely doable.

Professor Anderson turns a difficult subject into a science. Her powerpoints are extremely clear and her examples and extra practice problems solidify understanding. It's your responsibility to make sure you can go through them on your own though and understand them. Professor is always in a good mood and makes class engaging.

Professor Anderson clearly knows accounting. Her classes are clear and the book reading really isn't necessary. The class is a little boring but she could make it a lot worse. Overall accounting is a hard subject but she does a great job of explaining it. I would take her class again!

Anderson is an ok professor. She's super scripted, doesn't show a lot of passion though she knows her stuff. She and the department ignored the curve - everyone got lower grades than anticipated. 101 is a hard class, yet I still found her underwhelming. She doesn't go above and beyond with her students

Comment:
She is a merely ok accounting professor. Extremely boring, but she gets the point across. If you are able to pay attention in class and not fall asleep, then the class shouldn't be too much trouble. Because a good portion of the material is hard, it can be hard to follow Mrs. Anderson and this makes the class far trickier than it should be.

Anderson is a great professor who generally provides the necessary information and resources (TAs, office hours) for you to succeed if you take advantage of it. The class is not easy by any means, but an A is well within reach if you 1. Show up to every class, 2. Go to discussion sections, 3. Participate in class, 4. Study a week ahead of time.

Professor Anderson is a great Accounting I professor because she obviously knows the material and loves teaching it to undergrads. The class itself is difficult, but she is always available and willing to help you. Definitely the best professor for Accounting I. 3 "midterm" exams, 3 group projects, final exam, iclicker questions

Prof Anderson is a great lecturer. She moves slowly which is great for an intro class, almost to the point of redundancy sometimes.
