She is my favorite teacher in the music department by far. This woman is so passionate about classical music, you can't help but listen attentively. She's extremely knowledgeable, and an amazing writer. She's a great resource when writing papers. She's always a joy to meet with one on one. HIGHLY recommend DRohr!

While she tends to get carried away with excessive analysis and examples, and the class sometimes drags on a bit, she knows what she's talking about and is very clear. If you have trouble understanding the topic, she's good about clarifying concepts and she's very sweet.

She's a very sweet, funny woman who is good at teaching if allowed to do so. She is not very good at controlling an inattentive class, but if you want to do well and understand the material, she is more than willing to assist you. Overall, a very good professor.

Rorh loves music, but can be a little too intense at times. She doesn't really notice what's going on most of the time. Fortunately, she knows what she's talking about, and she's nice.

While she is a very nice woman, she seemed to have trouble connecting with the students. It often seemed as though she liked to hear herself play the piano and I never felt that we had enough time to go over the actual topics. If you don't mind teaching yourself, go for it!

when i was a music major she was very helpful. It was amazing how someone could get so excited about music. She seems like the type to stay home on weekends feeding her cats, and listening to Josquin all aftrenoon with Tea
