He taught me so much applicable and insightful information, I was light years ahead of everyone in grad school. Amazing teacher, fun professor, and a very knowledgeable psychologist. Take his class if you want to learn.. He'll be highly supportive of those that truly want to learn and help you become the psychologist you want to be in the future

Nice guy, but I didn't learn anything profoundly important from his class. The 'coursework' was a joke with a few filler projects and tested on trivia from tangential readings. The class might be worth auditing, if for the occasional entertaining anecdotes.

Loved his stories. Definitely has a good sense of humor. This class wasn't as challenging as some of my other 300-level classes, which was nice. Very little work (2-3 1-page response papers, a couple of short tests on books we read and a couple of standard exams). The novels he assigned were really good, too. Mac is just a joy to have a class from!

This prof is a hoot! Very kind, good grader, and with a great sense of humor. Classes are always interesting, and he always throws in a few fun facts, jokes or stories. I learned a lot in his class although it wasn't the most challenging or time consuming.

I learned less in this class than in AP Psych in 10th grade-if you're serious about learning avoid his classes But his classes are intersting with stories from his past...
