Deborah wants to see everyone succeed. She is always available for feedback and will tell you exactly how to fix your draft to make it an A. She is very kind and incredibly patient. This is an easy course. If you struggled with it, that's not on her. Anything not understood the first time, she explained as many times as needed and gave extensions.

Deborah is a very helpful prof. She is always available outside of class time to check over assignments or projects; however, she is a very tough marker. She gives clear instructions but it's almost impossible to get an A. Deborah gives great feedback, but is one of the hardest markers I have ever met.

midterm and final essay writing are crazy. quizzes on every single short story and almost every class. does explain when you ask. However, not very clear on the specific points she wants. I guess it is just the nature of the courses.

Actually show up to class and listen to her verbal instructions and youll get an A. Deborah is ALWAYS willing to answer questions and will ALWAYS accept drafts of assignements in advance & will tell you exactly what you need to do to get an A. The course itself is odd and revolves alot around formatting, but Deb is great.

I've had her for both 1118 and 2228. I found she was a much easier marker for 2228 than 1118. Although sometimes her due dates for assignments aren't clear, she gives out precise instructions and even written examples of how major written assignments are to be done. Show up to class, pay attention somewhat and you'll get a good grade, that simple

Terrible. In the first week, she insisted that everyone have MyTechComLab & we used it once.. She seems flustered most classes and students ALWAYS ask a million questions because she is so unclear! Do not take ANY classes with her unless you HAVE to. She's a GPA downer! Should NOT be teaching.

Taking her online class right now and she failed half of the class on our memo assignment. She does not explain material clearly and does not tell you exactly what she wants. If you do one thing wrong then you get a fail. I signed up for the wrong teacher!

Terrible. Claims to have high standards for her students, but has extremely low teaching standards and ethics. Returns assignments late (6 weeks to mark!) and doesn't tell you what she wants or expects for assignments until after they are due. No prep time for exams and has no depth when it comes to discussing novels and poems. Absolutely terrible.

Knows what she wants, just listen and you have to do a lot of reading at home and figure out the guidelines for summaries and other major assignments she gives. She doesn't really go over the guidelines of what she wants before she gives you an assignment.. you are warned, overall she is not a bad teacher

I found Deborah to be very thorough, helpful, flexible, and understanding. She will give tons of advice/feedback on term papers. She can be a little unorganized at times, but it's not too big of a deal. She posts lots of details on the blackboard so it's easy to stay caught up if you miss. Very fair marker. I would definitely take her class again.
