This class is so confusing. She is a horrible instructor who overloads you with information that leaves you pulling your hair out. Her quizes are super confusing and the work load is entirely too much for a 3 credit class.

Her lecture notes are all over the place. She is never clear on assignments. She overloads you with information. She makes you feel overwhelmed. This class is not hard, it is confusing and scattered. The material is easy to understand, if you can find it by sifting through the mounds of info she gives you. steer clear of this class.

This professor is the only professor that made me hate my own major. She doesn't care about students. Miss class? don't worry she definitely will not have your back. She's a tough grader for sure, so do your work or you'll fail.

Do not take this course if you have a full load already!! Do not expect to see your grades in a timely fashion. Do your homework, read the chapters, and prepare for some seriously lengthy sort answer and essay questions on your tests. There is one group project and it is brutal. If you are used to getting an easy A prepare for disappointment.

Dr. Johnson is a good professor who you can learn a lot from. Yes, this class is difficult, and you'll probably be overwhelmed by the workload. However, you'll always be able to recall the material afterwards, unlike other courses, so she clearly knows what she's doing. This class challenges you, but it also makes you a better student.

Dr. Johnson teaches a very interesting course and as long as you follow her directions and do the readings, then you should not have a problem with the course. It is certainly not easy, but it is worth it and you'll learn a lot.

Don't. Run away now. She is the worst professor I have ever had. VERY unclear on what she wants, doesn't respond to student emails, doesn't give a straight answer when you ask her in person, DOESN'T GIVE BACK GRADES. SUCH a frustrating class, TAKE SOMETHING ELSE!!!

I have never taken a class that was so difficult. The exam study guides literally sent me into a nervous breakdown. She almost never gives feedback on assignments and when she does it is not in a timely manner and you can't read her writing. If you are thinking of taking this class you should probably just switch your major.

Deb is very unclear in her lectures and assignments and doesn't even seem to know what she's doing. If you ever have any questions she beats around the bush hard and will never give you a straight answer. I've never asked questions to a teacher where the result was leaving me in an even worse state of confusion. Seriously, don't waste your time.

Not a great professor, and not a great class. I had her for "NatureNurture", so the subject was pretty interesting, but she made the class so painful to sit through! Boring lectures. Also, be ready for group projects, and if your group members disappear (like mine did!) she grades you based on their work too- most frustrating thing at USM so far!

Dr. J is very hard to understand. She says "um" in almost every sentence and often looses her place. Her quizzes are easy as long as you study. You are put in a group at the beginning of the semester and you have to work with that group for the whole semester. I do not recommend class with her.

The class load is A LOT, so be prepared. It is likely that you will not receive an A in her class, lucky if you get a B. She can be very confusing, but she is a nice person and will help you if you need it. She may get frustrated at times and be hard to work with, but if you stick to it and work together to solve the issue, it will get solved.

This class was the most challenging one I've taken at USM. I took the class in a 7 week online summer course. Dr. J was very unclear on what she was looking to get out of students. Her online notes were scattered and her expectations unrealistic for a 7 week online course. I would not recommend that you take this online.

This class was HORRIBLE. Deb is so hard to follow, once I tallied how many times she said uhh and it was 129 times in 34 minutes. The course isn't very hard but shes hard to understand and her notes online are not helpful in the least, she might as well not even post them. I don't know anyone that likes this class. I would not take it again... ever

She is quirky but enjoys teaching, even more than that she actually wants and supports learning in her class! She is clear and lays out a path for you to follow, do it and you'll do well.
