SPH130&250. wonderful lady but she doesnt give true lectures. She talks about a few things of the subject but ALWAYS easily gets off topic and rants about random stuff, which leaves you wondering what you really shouldve gotten out of the class. Easy class, textbook required but I didnt have one and did ok. Shes sweet and will help u if needed

The textbook is used heavily in this class. The lecture is basically the whole class and then a test, so be mindful of listening and being attentive in class. Overall, really good.

I really enjoyed taking this class. The material was very interesting for me, and Mrs. Bankston is a hoot! She can be unorganized (many rabbit trails will be taken), but she wont test you over chapters you do review in class. You MUST at least skim through the book before taking the test along with memorizing the outlines. I love her stories.

She likes to tell random stories for the majority of class. She does give handouts for each class which is nice. Whats on the handouts is what will be on the tests! So dont lose those.

At first she was very nice and the class itself is not hard, but she is very unorganized when it comes to grading rubrics on assignments. She does not specify what she wants points get taken off for things not even asked for. She's not great at replying to emails either. The class is boring and the teacher is rude. Do not recommend.

Very nice lady. Exams are very long but not bad if you study. What to study? Study what she tells you to hi-lite in class and any extra things she might throw in every once in a while. As long as you attend her class and take notes, you are going to get through this class with flying colors! #TeamBankston!!

Such a sweet lady! Her class is very boring but she tries so hard to make it interesting! Her class only consists of 3 tests so don't slack! Bring your book because she teaches straight out of it and tells you what to highlight. Tests aren't that hard they are just very long and exhausting! But she does bring pizza on last class day!

Ms. Bankston is overall a sweet. She teaches straight out of the book and tells you what to highlight so you will know what to study. She is very helpful and doesn't mind answering questions. Her tests are extremely long so prepare yourself. You'll only receive 3 grades in her class so there is no room for failure. Overall, her class wasn't too bad

very nice professor. always willing to answer any questions for you, if needed. loves to give extra credit, which can make a difference in your grade. take good notes in her class and you will do great. she tells you what to hi-light in the book/page to refer back to when preparing for exams. exams are very long. make flashcards for her class.

She is wonderful& a sweet lady!She really tries to make the lectures very interesting as much as she can. Her test can be hard, but as long as you go to class, listen to her lectures you will be fine. Plus, she loves giving extra bonus points! I would take her again!

Please do not be fooled by the Intro. class. It gets harder. The Intro class is very easy, but Lang. Disorders and Aural/Oral arent. The test are all essay and not at all like the reviews she gives. Also, she really isnt as nice as the first impression she gives you. jJust a warning....

She is a very kind person and a wonderful teacher. Make sure you purchase the study guide book. Many test questions come straight from the questions in that. I studied the study guide book, the handouts and the essay questions she said would be on the test, and made an A in the class.
