Comment:

Expectations for assignments were unclear. She was scatter brained, if you asked her specific questions she wouldn't answer them clearly. I didn't know what my grade was until 2 weeks until the end of the semester. She did not check her email, it is difficult to communicate. Every class I felt like I was wasting time. It was a joke.

Unclear expectations for assignments. I literally don't know how I passed- because I feel like I was lost the entire semester. She's an extremely knowledgeable professor with an extreme amount of experience with teaching and children. Learned a lot, and appreciated her enthusiasm!

This class was a two credit class. It was too much work for not enough credit hours. She expects hours of homework and her end of unit group presentation is tough. Also, she is unclear with her expectations, a tough grader, and merciless in many ways. She has no idea how to use technology. I wish I had taken this from a different professor.

She is a super sweet lady. But, she does not use the internet like she should- cancelled class and called the students- except 5 who showed up to class. Does not clearly define projects and what is required in order to get a good grade. She is really disorganized and expects a lot of work. My class is only worth 2 credits and I do hours of HW.

Debra is an awesome teacher! The class is very easy and stress free. She gives you very easy assignments that are pretty beneficial. If she comes back from her mission with her husband, for sure take it.

Best teacher ever! she's so passionate about teaching every day is awesome and never boring! I loved it and she gives the answers to the tests which is another plus but I still learned so much out of her class and she cares about every student and is willing to work with them. I would love to take another class from her and I'm a physics major :D

She hardly teaches, but gives the students the answers to the test. This seemed like a good thing, but with the fact that she doesn't prsent the information to you in any other way beside the answer to the question, it makes remembering the answers harder. Don't take this professor if you don't memorize well and learn by hearing examples.

I loved this class! It felt more like a fun discussion class than a lecture. You know exactly what is one the tests and class is fun. I would definately recommend her!! As long as you go to class, you are almost for sure going to get an A.

Comment:

Debra is so sweet, informative and caring. Her tests are a gimme-literally. Lots of busy work,(opinion papers, survey, etc) but they are interesting and an easyA. 1 research paper and shortpresentation too. Must present a test question per test, again, easy- just more to do. She's great tho- flexible when necessary too.

I just took her class and thought she was amazing! She will do anything to help you out. She definatly wants you to recieve an A in her class. This class was a no stressor of a class. I would recommend her for any class. I wish she taught ALL Education classes. LOVED HER!

Good Class, learned a ton, my class was a little boring, never answered questions when she asked. But, The overall content was great. She does have assignments, but she gives you the answers to the tests, so if you get a bad grade you have no one to blame but yourself. Visual Aids required, and some light writing. Debra Taylor is great! No quizzes but a lot of writing, which isn't very hard since it's basically your opinion and there is not limit of how much you need to write. If you do your assignments you will get a 100% in the class.
