I had Aprill for both Eng100 and 101. He is extremely easy and clear about what he expects from papers. There's a variety of papers that need to be completed, but he gives you two class days (3hrs. total) to complete a 500 word essay, and lets you revise them and hand them in late. He's extremely lenient and is very intelligent. No text needed!

Aprill is definetely one of the easiest teachers I've ever had. He's very helpful and is very simple. No textbooks, no tests, no stress! If you miss more than 3 classes, he might be upset but he's very lenient with handing in papers later, coming in late, or sicknesses. Don't take advantage of him, but just listen in class, take a few notes.

this guy is HORRIBLE! I had him freshman year and he ripped apart my papers. I struggled just to get a B- in the class when all in high school I got A's in english. He is so picky about grading its insane. STAY AWAY!!!

Can't stand this guy. He told us to write a descriptive paper and so I did, a very descriptive one at that. He could have cared less about that though I got a C+, he only focuses on grammar and mechanics. Who cares if you can write well, it only matters if the comma you put there was supposed to be there.

I consider myself a good writer and I still couldn't catch a break from this guy, really tough grader. Where another 100-level professor would be considered an "easy A", Aprill is an "easy B" for any good student. An A is quite the accomplishment in my eyes.

He is the worst professor. He constantly writes for magazines and papers and he expects you to do the same. He isn't a fair grader either, and his TA is NO help what so ever. She is pretty much there to just stand around and do nothing. When you ask her a quesiton, she responds with an "I dont know."

I dont know how this man is a teacher.He contradicts all of his lessons and only gives good grades to the track team because he son is on it. I have never gotten anything lower than a B- on an essay yet I got a C in this class.He didnt even correctly add my grade up because it should have been a B-.He plays favorites and is never clear on anything he wants out of students.His final was STRICTLY an opinion paper.

Complete ****. Never failed an essay in my life before I took his class. Eng 101 is suppose to be an easy A, and it would've been with any other teacher. I know a lot of people who wrote good papers (including me), but nothing's good enough for him. Whatever you do, don't take him!!!
