Comment:
Hes a nice guy , but this class was the absolute hardest. You only get graded on three tests all semester , and will get many points off for a tiny mistake. Attendance was not mandatory so even though I attended every class it did not help my grade at all. The homework is optional and is used as extra credit, but it takes hours to complete.

Do not take this class unless you have a light workload in your other classes. Also the discussion classes (mandatory attendance) are such a joke he walks around with a clipboard checking who has commented. The end of term paper it felt like he expected this to be a master theses, I worked on it for 3 months wrote 15 pages and only received a D.

He sometimes can be condescending towards students thinking only he is right. We were graded on participation, 4-5 different homework questions for a group of 3 topics discussed in class (hard to follow his PowerPoints), and a final extinction presentation so you better do the homework to get a good grade.

I wish I hadn't enrolled in this course to fulfill a Gen Ed credit. I don't recommend taking a class with Dr. Wolosz. The grading is harsh and doesn't make sense. The homework assignments aren't properly planned out. For example, he assigned an essay, lesson questions, term paper, and presentation in the same two week period. Too much work.

He is very rude; if you don't see things his way, you're dead to him & your homework grades suffer for it.

This class is really interesting. The professor is really approchable and is very willing to answer any and all questions. The powerpoints and whole lectures are online so it's pretty easy to do well on the essays and questions. Essays have no length requirements ethier=awesome.

I took his extinction class on the web, and loved it. He worked very hard making power points and lessons, so no textbook is required. The class is very interesting and, he is very helpful.

If you like getting good grades, don't take this class. For a gen ed, I spent way too much effort on the class, and he gave completely ridiculous grades. The class average for participation was a 55%. There's no way to succeed in his class.

Worst teacher I have ever had. Had for Biostats. Every person in the class hated him. He is not clear on what he wants you to do for test. He says you can do whatever graph will work best but when he grades it there is only one right answer. He will take 40 points off a 40 point question for making a minute mistake. Worst proffessor ever.

He injects his political views into his lectures, but not that often. He seems a bit rough around the edges, but he's alright. While you technically don't have to come to class (you can see notes and PowerPoints online), there is material in the lecture that he explains only then, and not in the online notes and PowerPoint.

Gives online quizzes and essays which you take weekends on your own time. Course material is somewhat interesting. Not the course to take if you're looking for a teacher that gets to know his students personally.

Lots of videos. Gives you all the answers in previous work. It's direct if you pay attention and don't goof off. Pretty easy. A little boring if anything.

He rocks- He hates Jurassic Park- It's all good. Seriously,if anyone ever fails this class, you do not deserve to be alive. I'm talking 25% curve on every test. Just go to class to get a B. Study for a half hour to get an A.

Friggin awesome guy. Loves to tear Jurassic Park apart. Go to class, memorize the skeletons, and you get an A. Not any harder than that.
